Abstract/Ophthalmic Tech- Part time, 25 hours/week in the retina department.  Will extract patient data from one database and enter to another.  Must have good comfort level with data entry and be able to follow directions.  Will also perform ophthalmic tech duties as needed.  Will conduct initial tests/screens for patients.  Based in Blue Ash.  HS grad required.  Previous medical office experience strongly preferred.  Temporary Position, expected to end no later than December 31, 2012. 

Visual Field Tech- Full time position.  Will perform visual field testing on patients as needed.  Will describe test to patients, and assist them as needed.  Monday – Friday. Based in Blue Ash; may occasionally fill in at another location.  Must have reliable transportation.  Requires HS grad.  Previous medical office experience helpful. 

Ophthalmic Tech/Scribe- Full time position.  Will add to patient electronic medical record (EHR) as the patient exam is occurring.  May also perform initial test/screens for patients, including refractions/a-scans; keratometry, visual fields.  One to two late night a week.  Based in Blue Ash and will travel to Georgetown as needed.  Requires HS grad.  Previous experience helpful.  COA or COT preferred.   Must have efficient computer skills and reliable transportation. MAH

Ophthalmic Tech- Full time position in our NKY office.  Performs initial test/screens for patients, which may include refractions/a-scans; keratometry, visual fields. May also scribe.   Based in NK.  Will travel to Blue Ash as needed.  One late night per week.  Requires HS grad.  Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.  COA or COT preferred.  Must have reliable transportation.  EJH

Visual Field Tech- Full time position.  Will perform visual field testing on patients as needed.  Will describe test to patients, and assist them as needed.  Monday – Friday. Based in Blue Ash; may occasionally fill in at another location.  Must have reliable transportation.  Requires HS grad.  Previous medical office experience helpful. 

RN Photo- Part time position.  Will work two days/week.  Responsible for venipuncture and/or dye administration per established protocols.   Will also perform emergency life support including CPR to patients experiencing adverse reactions.  Will be trained to become study certified ophthalmic photographer and may eventually add study coordinator duties and administer PDTs and injections.   May travel to Blue Ash on occasional basis.  Requires current Ohio RN license, with at least 2 years nursing experience, one of which is experience performing venipunctures.  Must have good organizational skills as well proficient with Windows based software.  Previous ophthalmic experience helpful.   

Patient Accounts Manager- This position is responsible for the day to day performance of the Patient Accounts Department.  Working within the practice management system, creates and analyzes ad hoc reports. Manages the aging of accounts receivable by trending and analyzing the A/R, and through communication with the payors.  Monitors the collection processes to determine improvement opportunities. Works with other departments to monitor and correct data input or demographic information errors.  Maintains daily contact with staff members and may regularly meet with doctors, managers, and staff to discuss billing issues and methods to improve department workflow efficiencies.  Selects, reviews, and trains staff.  Assists staff with daily questions and ensures that productivity standards are met.   Assists in the development and implementation of goals and objectives that support the department and CEI in total.  Communicates and supports individual and team goals within the department.  Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of Patient Accounts and proven supervisory experience, along with at least an Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.  Bachelor degree preferred.  Previous experience with NextGen Practice Management system strongly preferred.  Must have detailed knowledge of managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid billing rules.  Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification a plus.  Proven analytical skills and high comfort level with excel required. 

Ophthalmic Tech- Part time, 30 hours/week.  Performs initial test/screens for patients.  May scribe.  Will work 3-10 hr days in the retina department.  Monday and Friday in Blue Ash, Thursday split between NKY and Blue Ash.  Must have reliable transportation.  Requires HS grad.  Previous medical office experience preferred.  COA preferred. 

Ophthalmic Tech/Refractive Tech- Part time position, approx 32 hours/week.  Performs initial test/screens for patients, which will include refractions/a-scans; keratometry, visual fields. Will also perform wavescans, biometry, may assist with pre and post op refractive surgical patients.  May also scribe.   Based in Blue Ash.  Will travel to Middletown as needed.  One late night per week.  Requires HS grad.  Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.  COA or COT preferred.  Must have reliable transportation.
