 Steven J. Arnow, D.O. practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Dr. Arnow has been in practice in Southeastern Indiana since finishing his Ophthalmology Residency at The Geisinger Division of the Milton S. Hershey Medical School of Penn State University in 1983. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Penn State with a B.A. in Economics. He received a U.S. Public Health Fellowship to attend University of Michigan Public Health School where he received a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration. Prior to attending medical school, he served on the faculty of the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania within the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Dr. Arnow has published in the field of health economics and also has presented papers at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and the Ohio Ophthalmological Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Cincinnati Society of Ophthalmology where he was a former served as secretary/treasurer. Dr. Arnow is active at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Indiana where he developed the Ophthalmology service and has been elected Chief of Surgery and Chief of the Medical Staff. In addition, Dr. Arnow has been Chairman of the following committees: Bylaws Committee, Credentials Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, Future Development Committee, and Executive Committee. Dr. Arnow is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He and his wife, Gail, are active with their three daughters. Dr. Arnow has been a member of the school board of the Cincinnati Hebrew Day School and was a former President of the Chabad Center of Blue Ash. Dr. Arnow and his family spent a year in Jerusalem, Israel where his children attended Israeli schools and Dr. Arnow and his wife studied in various religious and academic institutions. They also participated in several archeological tours. |
