Aubrey R. Tirpack, M.D.

Aubrey R. Tirpack, M.D. is a member of the glaucoma service at Cincinnati Eye Institute. She grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended Archbishop Alter High School. She graduated summa cum laude with honors from Miami University with a degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Tirpack completed her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for demonstrated leadership, service, and academic excellence. She completed her preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. During her residency, Dr. Tirpack served as rotating chief resident and editor of the grand rounds column in Ocular Surgery News. After graduating from her residency, she went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Tirpack performs cataract surgery as well as a variety of surgical and laser procedures for the treatment of glaucoma. She has presented research at national and international meetings and has a strong interest in teaching and residency education. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
