Carl T. Bruce, M.D.

Carl T. Bruce, M.D. is a member of the Urgent Eye Care team and provides comprehensive eye care. He completed his undergraduate degree in economics at The George Washington University in Washington D.C., where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He then returned to his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, for medical school at Washington University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, followed by residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Bruce provides comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery, in Blue Ash. In addition to his work in the United States, Dr. Bruce also participates in mission work abroad, having been involved in ophthalmological surgical missions in El Salvador and Honduras.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bruce is interested in all things car-related. He and his wife, a pediatric neurologist, also enjoy backpacking, canoeing, and camping, especially in the Red River Gorge.
