Get to Know Dr. Corcoran

Kevin T. Corcoran, O.D. has been practicing at Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) since 1984. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics, as well as his Doctorate of Optometry from Ohio State University. He completed his Residency at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Cleveland and is certified by the International Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

Dr. Corcoran is the Director of Optometric Services at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Ohio State University College of Optometry. He also directs an accredited postgraduate residency in ocular disease in affiliation with Ohio State University College of Optometry. His practice emphasizes eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and urgent eye care. Dr. Corcoran is involved in numerous clinical research projects that evaluate the efficiency of new ophthalmic instruments and pharmaceutical agents.

Dr. Corcoran is active in teaching, publishing and producing videos. He published scientific articles and produced numerous educational videos and remains involved in state, national and international continuing education programs. He is a vision consultant to the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. Dr. Corcoran also has a private practice located in Montgomery, Ohio.
