Dr. Nguyen completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She went on to study optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, receiving her Doctoral Degree in 2019. During her time as an optometric student, she was the President of the National Optometric Student Association (NOSA) and Student Ambassador for the Cooper Vision Contact Lens division. She completed her ocular disease externships at The University Hospitals of in Cleveland, OH and The Chalmers P. Wylie Columbus VA Medical Center in Columbus, OH.
Following graduation, Dr. Nguyen completed a 13-month post-Doctoral Residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, affiliated with The Ohio State University College of Optometry. As a resident, she presented case presentations at the East West Eye Conference, The American Academy of Optometry Conference, and other continuing education events throughout the Cincinnati region.
She practices comprehensive medical optometry with emphasis in glaucoma and dry eye. She is originally from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and grew up in Illinois and Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, spending time outdoors and traveling.
