Nina Li, O.D.
Dr. Li was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Li pursued her optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her time as an optometric student, Dr. Li was selected to be an assistant instructor to train students on clinical skills. Dr. Li also participated in ocular research and was the president of the student chapter of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Li completed externships at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Oak Hill Eye Care in Austin, Texas where she learned to treat ocular disease in a variety of clinical settings. Dr. Li graduated magna cum laude and received an award for clinical excellence in the medical eye service.
Dr. Li completed a post-doctoral residency in ocular disease at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in medical optometry and emergent eye
care. During her residency, Dr. Li also gave lectures to medical students as well as local physicians at conferences and continuing education events throughout Ohio.
In addition to providing optometric services at CEI, Dr. Li also performs comprehensive eye care and is adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
