Patient Services Professional-Middletown
This full time position is one of CEI’s first opportunities to make a great impression. Meets/greets patients upon arrival at check in. Ensures patient information is obtained and entered into the practice management system prior to the patient seeing the physician/receiving services. Scans patient insurance cards and collects copays. Ensures paperwork/follow up appointments are made at check out. Requires a HS grad with previous data input experience and at least one year office experience. Previous medical office and/or customer service experience a plus. Candidate must be able to maintain a friendly, calm demeanor even during busy periods. May float to other locations (all within Greater Cincinnati) as needed, must have reliable transportation.
Patient Accounts Billing Specialist
Full time position. Processes and collects payments from various insurance companies on services rendered by the physicians. HS grad required with at least 1year medical billing experience required. Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid and WC also required. Prefer experience in coding; knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 codes also a must.
Full time position. This full time position manages calls and questions from patients and staff members. Receives calls not handled by Patient Intake, decides appropriate action and/or speaks directly with doctor or clinic manager, then executes plan (makes appointment, calls in eye drops, etc). Documents all activity in patient record. Contacts patients as needed, to reschedule/schedule follow up appointments. Responds to all voicemails and task basket on a timely basis. Acts as desk/patient guidance, which includes but not limited to providing information to patients with questions, providing directions. Schedules appointments. Monitors task basket on a daily basis; processes pharmacy requests. Based in NKY office with regular travel to Blue Ash. Requires HS grad with previous medical office experience. Previous ophthalmic experience a real plus.
Full time positions. Provides care for patients and maintains a calm operating atmosphere while anticipating surgeons’ needs. Duties include:
- Will work in pre-op, OR, and/or recovery.
- May help check-in patients for OR and/or laser treatments- YAG, Argon, and SLT.
- May check the patient chart for accuracy, prepare the holding room for the patient, ensure instruments are ready for procedures.
- May complete H&P and nurse assessments; administer drops into the eyes as ordered by the surgeon, make pre operative phone calls to patients, and/or schedule future appointments for patients in our practice management system as needed.
Requires Ohio RN license and CPR certification. Computer experience preferred. Pre-op/OR/post-op experience preferred. ACLS preferred.
Ophthalmic Tech – Float
Full time. Great opportunity for one who likes variety. This position performs initial test/screens for patients, including CC, HPI, visual acuity, tonometry, etc. May also scribe, facilitate, manage task baskets, conduct patient communication/return calls. Requires excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently, attention to detail, strong computer and phone skills. Based at Blue Ash, will float to various clinic departments as needed. Must have reliable transportation. Requires HS grad. Previous experience, COA, or COT strongly preferred.
Technical Support/Help Desk
This position helps to ensure proper computer operations so that end users may accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests, identifying end user training needs, and performing routine network maintenance tasks. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help-request tracking tools, as well as require in-person, hands-on help. This position has access to all levels of employees. A calm, patient, respectful, customer service demeanor is paramount to success in this position.
Successful candidates will have at least HS degree (Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred) and at least two years in a corporate IT support environment. Above average knowledge of Windows OS required (XP, Vista, 7). Windows Server 2003 Administration experience preferred. Citrix, SQL, Crystal reporting, basic programming, Cisco routers/switches and disaster recovering planning experience a plus. A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional preferred. LAN administration experience in a windows based or hybrid network environment preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills required.
Nurse Assistant in OR - part time opportunity
This position assists RNs and other ASC personnel with nursing and non nursing related duties in the surgery center, as well as perform clinical and housekeeping functions where required. Restocks supplies, answers phones, runs copies, cleans instruments, changes beds, assists as needed. Other duties as assigned. Will work occasional Saturdays. Requires HS grad. Previous nurse assisting experience helpful. Must have current CPR certification.
