About CEI

The Cincinnati Eye Institute is one of the largest tertiary referral ophthalmology practices in the United States. We employ more than 70 ophthalmologists and optometrists, providing care across nearly all ophthalmic subspecialties. CEI maintains 15 clinical centers as well as three ambulatory surgical centers, engaging in more than 200,000 patient encounters annually. In this dynamic environment, our residents have the opportunity to learn from some of the country’s top specialists as they encounter a wide range of ocular and systemic diseases.
