Meet Dr. Hamad

Julia Hamad, M.D., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Cincinnati Eye Institute, serving patients in Fairfield and Blue Ash, OH. She practices medical and surgical comprehensive ophthalmology, diagnosing and treating cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Hamad was born and raised in Cincinnati. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and then earned her medical degree the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where she was elected chief resident in her final year.

In her free time, she enjoys exercising, golfing, and spending time with her family and dog, Hazel.
