Meet Dr. Hui

Lucy Hui, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Cincinnati Eye Institute, serving patients at the Blue Ash and Eastgate locations. She specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Hui is originally from Nashville, TN and graduated cum laude from Yale University with dual majors in Biology and Economics. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine, where she received the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award, presented to students who by strength of character, personal integrity, and academic achievement show promise of embodying the ideals of a compassionate physician. Dr. Hui then completed both her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina.

At Cincinnati Eye Institute, Dr. Hui performs cataract surgery and specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Her academic contributions include co-authoring multiple peer-reviewed abstracts and journal articles, with presentations at national scientific meetings.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hui enjoys traveling, cooking, snowboarding, and spending time with her family.
