Meet Dr. Shughoury
Aumer Shughoury, M.D., is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Cincinnati Eye Institute, serving patients in Blue Ash, OH. He specializes in ocular inflammatory disease (uveitis) and ocular immunology.
Dr. Shughoury is an Indiana native and completed his undergraduate degree in biology and philosophy at the University of Chicago, after which he completed his medical school education at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his ophthalmology training at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by advanced fellowship training in uveitis at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is currently completing additional fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.
