Gregory B. Mecoli, M.D.

Gregory B. Mecoli, M.D. grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended The Miami Valley High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Denison University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He then earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
After an internship year in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital, he returned to University of Cincinnati where he completed a Residency in Ophthalmology, serving as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Mecoli is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Cincinnati Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Mecoli is a medical and surgical ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery. He provides care primarily at the West Side, Lawrenceburg, and Maineville offices. He also serves on the medical staff of University Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, and Mercy West Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mecoli enjoys playing bluegrass music, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
