Get to Know Dr. Arar

Dr. Arar completed his undergraduate degree at Xavier University and his graduate degree at the University of Dayton. While at the University of Dayton, he presented and published many papers in the field of biomedical engineering. He then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in eye research involving corneal wound healing and macular degeneration. Dr. Arar presented his work at the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and received the Ohio Lion’s Eye Research Foundation Fellowship for his research. After his residency at the University of Cincinnati, he completed a six-month rotation in cataract and implant surgery with Robert Osher, M.D. at Cincinnati Eye Institute.
