Jeffrey M. Zink, M.D.

Jeffrey M. Zink, M.D. is a member of the Glaucoma and Cataract Team at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. He is an Ohio native and a summa cum laude graduate of Bates College. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the Charles A. Oliver Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology. After finishing an internship in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Kellogg Eye Center of the University of Michigan. During his residency, he was awarded two George Slocum Research Awards and served as Chief Resident in his final year. Subsequently, he did a fellowship in medical and surgical glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is associated with the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is currently a Volunteer Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Zink has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in ophthalmic literature and has lectured and presented his work at regional and national Ophthalmology meetings. He has a strong interest in all medical and surgical aspects of glaucoma. Dr. Zink performs cataract surgery as well as a variety of laser and surgical procedures for the treatment of glaucoma. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been selected by his peers to Best Doctors in America. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Zink sees patients at the Blue Ash office in Cincinnati.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Zink and his wife, Kate, enjoy spending time with their three daughters. Dr. Zink also enjoys fishing and playing tennis.
