Meet Dr. Klimo

Kelly Klimo, O.D., M.S., is a board-certified optometrist at Cincinnati Eye Institute, serving patients in Middletown and Montgomery. She practices medically-based and comprehensive optometry, including patients with diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eye, glaucoma, and cataracts among others.

Dr. Klimo is a native of Northeast Ohio. She completed her undergraduate education in neuroscience at Vanderbilt University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Klimo then earned her Doctor of Optometry and  Master of Vision Science in retinal electrophysiology at The Ohio State University, where she graduated top of her class and was awarded graduate of the year. During her training, Dr. Klimo completed rotations at the Cleveland VA and Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons. She continued her training by completing a residency in ocular disease at Cincinnati Eye Institute.

Outside of clinic, her interests include playing volleyball and pickleball, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Nash.
