Get to Know Dr. Lutmer

Kelly M. Lutmer, O.D., M.S, is a member of the cornea, glaucoma, and uveitis teams at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. She sees patients at the University Medical Arts Building in Clifton, the Blue Ash office, and the Middletown office.

Dr. Lutmer completed her undergraduate education in biology with honors at The Ohio State University. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. In addition, she concurrently completed her master’s degree in vision science. She presented her master’s research on contact lenses and public health in a national convention, and it has since been published in an academic journal. While in school, she was heavily involved in leadership roles and was selected to join the Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key Optometric Honor Societies. She looks forward to continuing her involvement in the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Ohio Optometric Association as a practicing doctor.

During her time in school, Dr. Lutmer gained experience in treating ocular disease at the Cincinnati VA Hospital and Cleveland MetroHealth Hospital. After graduating, she continued her education at Cincinnati Eye Institute as an Ocular Disease Resident. She is excited to be continuing her career at Cincinnati Eye Institute where she can serve the Cincinnati community.
