Get to Know Dr. Bisig

Dr. Kristen Bisig was born in Loveland, Ohio. She is an experienced optometrist who first received her bachelor degree in biology at The Ohio State University, and then continued on to Optometry school there. She received training in ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, binocular vision, glaucoma and low vision. Dr. Bisig completed rotations at the Salt Lake City VA, a private practice in Chicago, and several Columbus based private practices.

Dr. Bisig continued her education after Optometry School by completing a residency in ocular disease at the Braverman Eye Center in Hollywood, FL. At the site, she gained experience in post-operative cataract care, systemic disease ocular complications, and comprehensive eye care. In addition, she gave several presentations, presented a poster at the American Academy of Optometry meeting, as well as oversaw the clinical education of current optometry students.
Dr. Bisig currently takes special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Outside of the office, Dr. Bisig has been loving getting to know the Cincinnati area again. She enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and finding a good cup of coffee.
