Get to Know Dr. Tuohy

Dr. Megan M. Tuohy earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society as well as the Gold Humanism in Medicine Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the highly regarded W.K. Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. She also completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the Kellogg Eye Center.

Throughout her education and training, her skill and commitment were recognized with several academic awards and scholarships. Dr. Tuohy has published articles in several medical journals including Cornea, The Journal of Cornea and External Disease and the Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

Dr. Tuohy is a volunteer Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati and enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. She specializes in cataract and refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK as well as corneal disease management and transplants.

When she is not busy providing vision care, Dr. Tuohy enjoys spending time with her family and children and golfing.
