Get to Know Dr. Monica Albertson

Dr. Albertson practices comprehensive and medically focused optometry, including seeing patients with diabetes, macular degeneration, cataracts, and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

Dr. Albertson obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University where she was Captain of the Division 1 Lacrosse team. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Ohio State University while completing clinical experiences at the Southern Arizona VA and Associated Eyecare in Minnesota. Dr. Albertson continued her education by completing an ocular disease, neuro-optometry, and brain injury vision rehabilitation residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, California.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and exploring Cincinnati.
