Meet Dr. Huther

Dr. Alexander Huther is an ophthalmologist completing his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.

He earned a biochemistry and molecular biology degree from Trinity University, TX and his medical degree from Tufts university, completed an internal medicine internship at the Pennsylvania Hospital  and ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute.

His prior research spans from clinical retina trials in California investigating emerging technologies to nanoparticle catalysis chemistry during his undergraduate years.

Dr. Huther sees patients at CEI offices in greater Cincinnati. Originally from Germany, he speaks German, English, and Spanish fluently.
