Meet Dr. Alec Love

Alec Love, O.D., is an Ocular Disease Resident at Cincinnati Eye Institute, where he focuses on the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and complex eye conditions. Licensed to practice optometry in Ohio and Kentucky, he is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient centered care.

Dr. Love is originally from Hilltop, West Virginia. He earned a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University before attending Indiana University School of Optometry, where he received both a Bachelor of Science in Optometry and Doctor of Optometry degree. During optometry school, he served as president of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and worked as an associate instructor for several courses. He was recognized for his leadership, academic achievement, and service through several honors, including the Dr. Henry Hofstetter Scholarship, Dr. James D. Hurt Scholarship, Jack Bennett Humanitarian Award, and Dr. Victor and Janice Malinovsky Scholarship.

Outside of work, Dr. Love enjoys golfing, exploring new places with his fiancée, family, and
friends, and cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
