Meet Dr. Mickelson

Anna Mickelson, O.D. is an ocular disease resident at Cincinnati Eye Institute, where she specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex eye conditions and is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients.

Dr. Mickelson is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Mount Mercy University. She then attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry and graduated with High Honors. During optometry school, she served as Vice President of the Contact Lens Club, an Associate Instructor for Vision Rehabilitation, and a tutor for Clinical Sciences. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Scholarship.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mickelson enjoys staying active, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
