Meet Dr. Abdulameer

Saif Abdulameer, O.D. is an ocular disease resident at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, where he is dedicated to providing compassionate patient-centered eye care. His professional interests include ocular disease, dry eye disease, and comprehensive eye care, with a focus on helping patients achieve their best ocular health.

A Michigan native, Dr. Abdulameer earned his undergraduate degree from Ferris State University before obtaining his Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry. During his clinical training, he completed externships at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center and Henry Ford Health in Detroit, as well as Summit Eye Care of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where he gained extensive experience managing a wide range of ocular conditions.

Dr. Abdulameer is an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the National Optometric Association.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Abdulameer enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and is looking forward to exploring the beautiful outdoor nature of the Cincinnati area and cheering for the Bengals and Reds.
