Get to Know Dr. Thomas

Marwa Thomas, MD is a member of the glaucoma service at Cincinnati Eye Institute. She specializes in cataract surgery and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).

Dr. Thomas grew up and spent most of her adult life in Columbia, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate studies and earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Mason Eye Institute at the University of Missouri. There, she developed a strong interest in glaucoma and minimally invasive glaucoma surgical techniques.

Dr. Thomas is dedicated to providing her patients with personalized and compassionate care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Thomas enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband, young son, and dog, Chloe.
