Best wishes to Michael Petersen, M.D., Ph.D., whose has officially retired from Cincinnati Eye Institute, after more than 26 years serving patients in the tri-state.
Dr. Petersen and his wife will move back to Ann Arbor, Michigan later this summer where they still have many good friends and family. Dr. Petersen says he plans to work part-time in a private-academic vitreoretinal practice, and spend time at the University of Michigan. He says one of his goals is to volunteer as an international ophthalmologist, since one of the most common causes of blindness worldwide is cataract.
Thank you, Dr. Petersen, for your many years of helping patients and being an integral part of CEI!
